Guess it's about time I write a new journal.

So I finally got a new computer.  I've had it for close to two months now, and I really love it.  I've transferred pretty much all my files over from my old laptop and the netbook, but I'm gonna go back and give it at least one more check over before I give my old computer to my dad, who wants it for whatever reason.  I'm still missing some programs for my new laptop, but I suppose I'll get around to them eventually.

Speaking of software...my tablet software is missing.  That includes not only the installation disc for the tablet itself, but also my Photoshop installation CD.  It's somewhere in my room, but my room is an absolute horrible mess, so bad that I literally cannot stand to be in it for any extended length of time (aside from sleeping). ><  Hopefully I will be able to find it sometime soon, but between working on a cosplay, vacations, and my job, I don't know if it's going to happen any time soon.

Due to my lack of tablet, though, I've started to lean a bit towards more traditional art instead of digital.  The aforementioned cosplay is one of them; with a lot of help from my mother and grandmother I've been making a Suicune cosplay that I plan to wear to FanExpo in Toronto at the end of August.  I'm also attempting to draw a Nuzlocke comic after restarting FireRed, though I haven't gotten very far into it 'cause I keep over-detailing the characters and I have a bunch of other stuff that needs to get done first.  Speaking of that other stuff, R&F is up near the top (if not on the top) of my list right now, as I have to get that finished before July, preferably sooner, so that ~Lilacheart and I can write the last chapter together in person when I go see her and ~Kazeshimo in July.

I just finished a craft project a few days ago, of which I will be posting pictures sometime after I finish this journal entry.  It's kinda unusual for me, 'cause normally I don't do craft projects since my mom doesn't like it (I did take up about half the kitchen table for nearly five days...).  I'm probably going to end up selling them if anyone's interested, though only on a buying basis since I'm out of materials to make another.  I'll post details with the picture.

...I guess that's it for the artistic/whatnot update.  As for a life update...well, pretty much nothing's been going on. ._.  I bought Ocarina of Time (3DS) the other day; it's the first time I've owned a Zelda game since I had Ocarina of Time for N64 (still have it, actually).  I never got very far in it though; I was a little kid when I last played OoT on a working N64, so I was overly careful and never managed to make it out of the first village.  OoT!3DS is amazing though; I have to constantly look at a walkthrough guide, but the graphics are just wonderful.  So is the 3D; I usually put it on a really low setting or else I start going cross-eyed, but even on low it's just so cool playing the game in real 3D.83

Going back to FanExpo briefly...I was looking at the guest lists the other day, and OMG, the names.  Just from the anime guest list alone: Colleen Clinkenbeard, Caitlin Glass, Vic Mignogna (), Veronica Taylor, omg omg omg.  There's even bigger names from the sci-fi guest list: Anthony Daniels, Michael Shanks, Karen Allen, TOM FELTON, more squees of joy.8D  I'm gonna have to get my mom to come at least one day; she's quite a fan of Stargate (SG-1 and Atlantis), Star Trek, and Star Wars.  I kinda feel like bugging my sister to go too; she's a fan of Harry Potter and I know she wouldn't mind meeting one of the stars.  She'd probably hate everything else at FanExpo, though and she'll be embarrassed to be accompanied by a Suicune all day.

...Well, I guess that pretty much sums things up.  This journal's starting to get a bit long anyway.
