DP-RealFans contest entry

EDIT: So I fixed in the motto, went to save it as a GIF file...

and it turned out to be 30.86 kbs.

So I had to cut the colour palette down to 128. Not sure how much of a difference that made visually. Gods, I hope that's the end of this.

I am so fed up of working on this.

Last-minute entry for #DP-RealFans' icon contest.  I've been staring at this contest since it was announced, struggling to find some inspiration.  Which finally hit me about two weeks ago on Halloween.

Originally this was supposed to have the motto "A Phan is a Phan is a Phan!" getting sucked into the thermos too, but it wasn't until after I'd worked on it for five days straight and finally completed it that I realized that the file was a whopping 66 kbs.  In other words, over twice the maximum size allowed for group icons (30 kbs max).  So I ended up having to completely cut that part out and brokenly skip to Danny capping the thermos.  Please ignore any failed continuity in the blue stream at the end there.>.>

If I manage to find any extra time before the contest closes, I'll try to fix in the motto at the end (was gonna do it last night, but I felt sick so I had to go to bed).  Otherwise, at least it's up.

EDIT 12/12/10: It won. I'm pretty darn shocked here, the voting was so close and I thought for sure =ecokitty would win.
